My name's Kalei-Ann and I’m a 19 year old, Hispanic, female comic artist. For years I struggled with the idea that others might judge me and my work because I was a woman of color. For decades the comic book industry was seen as something only men were allowed to create, and yet there’s so many women just like me who have that love for art. So, why not be the first of many? Why not be that inspiration for the next Hispanic girl with that love for art just like the rest of us? So, here I am.
