Linett Luna Tovar is a Mexican illegalized writer, actress, and interpreter based in Pomona, CA. Her work, unhesitatingly political, explores themes of culture, feminism, family, and [im]migration. Linett’s writing has been featured in various publications, and she has performed at The dA Center for the Arts, UCLA, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Museum, among others. She co-produced the first bilingual collection of literary and visual art by New Orleans immigrant youth, El Camino a mi Libertad, in 2021. She facilitates creative writing workshops, makes comedy, and is currently working on a hybrid chapbook, Good Sleeper, Bad Dreamer.
